Dear Internet,

I only managed to sleep a few hours last night and I still wasn't tired all day. I got up and went to the Charter office to get my internets working, but their service man won't be here until next Thursday. A quick Wal-Mart trip got me hooked up with some necessary supplies: pillow, socks, milk, etc. Apparently Wal-Mart has stopped stocking any form of white rice worth the time it takes to cook. That's been moved to my Kroger list.

My roommate, Evan, arrived before noon. He recently had minor back surgery so his mom and I carried everything in for him and I helped him assemble his new desk while his mom went on a shopping trip for us. Our cabnets and fridge are well stocked with things I would never have bought for myself.

Since I don't get my own internet service for a week I spent most of the day trying to set up a signal booster for one of my neighbor's weak wireless networks. At the moment I have it working for everything except for Evan's desktop. Maybe another hour or two will shed some beams of success on my project.

In the morning I have to go to the Honors lounge to help set up the email groups for all the new freshmen. Maybe I'll just let Evan live without internet for the evening, but what kind of roommate does that make me?

With Love, Noah
