Dear Internet,
It's late and I can't fall asleep. Being the nerd that I am, and being comfortable with it, I decided to start a blog. This time, unlike socks with crocs, I'll only be writing about my day-to-day life. No programming or video games here; just thoughts and stories of the day.
On that note, I moved into my own apartment today. This is my first time living on my own in a place of my own. I'm not counting the dorm life because I couldn't have cooked there if I wanted to and the general atmosphere of a dorm is nothing like the 'living on your own' that I was planning on from the beginning. I've got big plans: staying completely organized, doing push-ups every night, being perfectly punctual, hosting cake parties, and having internet access that I could only complain about to myself.
I had planned to move in last week but Sam objected and I didn't have my keys at the time. Oh, and the family 15 passenger van wasn't available at the time either; that was another big selling point. It was Sunday when we did manage to get everything in the back of the van and bring it all down to the apartment. A couple of hours of setup yielded a nice new IKEA desk and a yard sale bed and dresser set.
I went back to Knoxville that night and got to spend my last few days with same working on a cheesecake recipe that I had wanted to make since the beginning of summer. One thing I learned is that cheesecakes take forever to make. They're also well worth your time, and this one was especially delicious.
When I arrived this evening I was greeted by most of my friends from last semester, all of whom had ended up arriving in Cookeville before me. Go figure. I had a delightful time introducing all of them to Dr. Horrible for the first time. It really is such a joy to be able to spread something like that. With that I'll sign off for tonight.
With Love, Noah

Sam
I'm pretty sure that Mike is introducing Dr. H to Andrew as I type, actually.
